Bedding material consists of fine white wood shavings which create little air born dust. The bedding is suitable for all breeds of poultry (chickens hens), most pets and animals where high moisture absorbency is required.

Guide to Usage

Spread wood shavings over clean dry floor area of coop or shed about 3-5 cm deep. Rake or fork through as required to stop caking. Add more wood shavings as necessary to maintain depth. In dry warm weather a natural litter will form which is ideal for dust bathing and scratching. Replace litter when it becomes saturated with moisture or caking becomes a problem. How often the bedding needs replacing will be very dependent on temperature ventilation and humidity. In summer it should form a natural litter that may last 6 months or more. In winter the bedding may need to be replaced weekly to monthly depending on stocking density. In commercial "Barn" sheds where temperature and ventilation are maintained at optimum levels the litter may only need changing after a year or at the change of flock.

Bedding material consists of white wood chips which create little air born dust. The bedding is suitable for all breeds of poultry (chickens hens), most pets and animals including horses. It is particularly useful in damp areas such as doorways or around drinking fountains. Wood chip allows water to drain away rather than be absorbed and lasts much longer before it turns to pulp. In stables it can be banked up to the sides during the day to allow the floor and the wood chip to dry out.
